Terri Meis, Third Grade Teacher
Mrs. Meis' hometown is here in Ingalls Kansas. She attended school from kindergarten through graduation, so she takes a lot of pride in our school and community alike. Together her and her husband, Jim Meis, have an electrical contracting business. Aside from teaching, she likes to do the book work for their business, so her days are quite busy. In her free time she enjoys golfing, vacationing, cooking, growing things, and spending time with her friends and family. She loves her job and feels very fortunate to be surrounded by truly great souls! Watching her students grow and learn is always an adventure. Their positive energy makes her cup runneth over!
Mrs. Meis has a Business degree through Fort Hays State and a K-9 Education degree from Newman University. She has taught 3rd grade since 2003. Prior to teaching third grade, she was a subsitute teacher in the Ingalls School District. In addition to her education employments, she has previous experience working at a bank in Garden City.
