Skyler Lightner
Skyler Lightner attended Newman University for Elementary Education (K-9th). She has had a total of 15 years of work experience including being a writing teacher for two years at Garden City, an Interventionist/ESL teacher for three years total (two years at Garden City, one year at Ingalls), and has taught Kindergarten for ten years (eight years in Garden City, two years at Ingalls). She grew up in Deerfield KS, and now lives on a farm. She is married to Alex Lightner, and has three children: Alexa, Abby, and Lane.
Other activities she is currently doing at Ingalls includes being the head Jr. High Girls Basketball coach, the head Jr. High Girls Volleyball coach, and the assistant Jr. High Girls track coach. Her and her family love going camping and watching sports together.
